The 18 Month Old Boy
Our little Joshua is now 18 months old! He is now 11kg any 83 cm tall. He recently just graduated from the infant room to the toddler room in daycare. Congrats, my boy!
As Josh gets older, we can start to see his wonderful personalities. He is definitely an introvert and shy. He loves to clean anything, everything, anywhere, and everywhere. He likes to wipe tables, pick crumbs off of the floor and throw it in the garbage, and dust / vacuum / mop the floor. When he sees a mess, he yells "uh oh!" and points at the mess. Josh also loves to play with balls. He throws pretty hard and far, and his aim is not too bad. He likes to dance to songs and play with cars/buses/trains.
Josh is also starting to say a few words. Some words he has mastered include: Mama, Dada, Opa, Dodo, bobo, baa baa, duck, moo, meow, woof, juice, no, up, raaraa. Some words that he says means multiple things. For example, he calls every fruit "apple". Banana, apple, orange, pear, berries are all apples to him. Some of the things he says are his own version of the word. So we get to the fun part of deciphering Josh. Here are some:
- Aum= eat
- Mo= more
- Mu= minum/ drink
- Doo= down
- Toon = turun/ down
- Dah= udah/ finish
Josh is definitely growing up fast. It is so much fun to watch him grow and learn and play. But with age comes more responsibility, my dear Joshua. Time to potty train soon!
